Structured descriptions
In metoCube procedures are described in a structured way, as opposed to the narrative style used when procedures are documented in MS Word, PDF or static HTML. This structured process description makes it possible to generate views that filter content.
Information is reusable
Information is not repeated. Instead it is linked or embeded.
Business analysts dont need to repeat the same information on multiple different documents
Clickable diagrams
In metoCube you can import MS Visio diagrams (or HTML image maps) and metoCube will automatically scan them, create a page for each element in the diagram (such as tasks, roles, etc...) where you can add detailed information about the element and link the diagram with that page.
Diverse page display modes
Pages can be displayed in diverse modes such as standard metoCube mode , web mode , description mode or embeded mode.
File repository
Attach files (such as templates, photos, etc...) to element descriptions
Alerts and notifications
Get
alerts if any procedure in the organization changes or subscribe to
specific procedures is you want to be notified when it changes. The
alert system in metoCube is based on RSS feeds.
Workers keep up to date with latest changes
Analytical views
Because the procedures are described in a structured way and data stored in a database, views showing process information from different angles can be generated.
Use views to explore the procedures from different points of view. Views answer questions such as "In which processes is this document modified?" or "What persons is this indicator relevant to?"
Views let you explore the information from multiple angles and show relations among your organization's different business components, such as people that actually carry out a task in a process description, the user manuals useful to a person depending on the tasks s/he is responsible for or a list with the people that use a specific software system.
Views are built using the [Sub features:Custom views]

My metoCube
My metoCube is a special page that shows only the information that is relevant for you based on the roles you play in the organization.
My person
My person is a person element in metoCube's model that represents you.
When you login into metoCube (you must have a metoCube account with your e-mail address as username) metoCube scans all the elements of type person in the models to see if anyone has an e-mail matching your username. If metoCube finds a match, it sets that person element as "My person" for that user, placing a link under My metoCube section at the right region.
Using "My person" page it is possible to access your person's relevant views.
To see a sample of a "My person" page go to this sample metoCube model and login with username: count@jazz.org, password: public.
